This is an update to the first pattern Mikey ever wrote in 2009, now using 2025 modern yarn and skills in writing better patterns. The original was Bernat Super Value, using black and then double strands for the brim, using multiple colours to make it appear rainbow.
The pattern has three pages and includes photography to assist the crocheter.
The modern re-write uses half double crochet to tighten up the stitches and has a different stitch count overall. One ball does the trick for a crocheter instead of having seven like the original.
