I needed two identical Christmas tree skirts for my artificial tree arch. I created an easy-to-follow pattern using Bernat Blanket, as I know it will go much faster with the chunky yarn.

Using leftover or fresh balls of Bernat Blanket yarn, I created two identical Christmas tree skirts for my home holiday decor.

Slip the skirt over the base before putting the tree up, sliding the pole through the middle. The centre hole is 2.5” diam.

Bernat Blanket, 300 g / 10.5 oz, 201 metres / 220 yards.

A - Plum Chutney - 1 ball (uses most of the ball for just one)

B - Light Teal - 1 ball (one ball can do two tree skirts)

C - Gold - 1 ball (one ball can do two tree skirts)

  • The labels on my Plum Chutney had a 2017 date. It’s been in my collection for years, and I wanted to use the only two balls I had for this project.

Hook: 8 mm / L/11

Gauge: 10 sc and 8 rows = 4” [10 cm]

Size: 32” dia. (The centre hole is 2.5” dia)

The pattern was easy to download. The pattern was easy to follow. I have followed Mikey for a long time and learned new stitches from him.
