The crochet seagulls in Mikey's office are crocheted by a local crocheter called Idle Handscrochet. She specializes in selling Amigurumi locally here in Nova Scotia. The crochet seagulls are my most favourite thing ever. I call them my pattern gulls. Pattern. Pattern. Pattern.

The pattern is on ETSY and written by Kelsie G. You can find the Crochet Seagull Pattern here. It's an affordable pattern, and it's written well for great results, as you can see. The yarn is Bernat Blanket as well. Just three colours. You will find other amazing patterns by Kelsie as well, in case you want to collect even more squishable patterns to try.
I ran into Idle Hands a few years back, and we were so delighted by her seagulls that, of course, I could not just buy one. The original pattern does include a hat, but that is not on mine. It gives you an idea to add accessories, perhaps a Santa hat or something more. I love them just the way they are.
I've always joked with others, it needs a French fry or something.
I prefer to support the local crocheter in making these, as my hands don't work as well as they used to. But definitely a keepsake and gives me joy.
PS. This is not my pattern and is not available for sale through this website.
