This was a great pattern! I couldn't believe how quickly I finished each section. Because I completed it as a CAL, I finished my sections in a day or two, and then eagerly awaited the next release.
As soon as I saw the pattern, I knew I had to make it. I have completed almost all the “study of..” patterns, and appreciate how easy it is to follow Mikey’s format. I’m terrible at reading patterns (usually!) but his style just clicks and it becomes intuitive. The Study of Reality Was reallly the perfect pattern, as you really only needed to look at the beginning of each row to understand it, and you didn’t have to keep going back to the written paragraph. Easy to do while watching TV!
This was a fun one to do! The instructions are easy to follow & I LOVE that you include diagrams! Even if someone thinks they "can't read a diagram", it will definitely help them if they are confused on a stitch placement. Thank you, Mikey, for sharing your talents with the rest of us. 🥰
I think this is my favorite so far (but it is so hard to pick just one!). The pattern itself is well written, with diagrams galore and close up pictures of the different parts. Love his color schemes, but went rogue with mine, using skeins I already had.
Loved the unique corner design when transitioning to a square. Also the suggestions of which rows could be repeated to make a bigger blanket were very helpful.
