Create a very fast cowl. With the #6 Weight yarn, it works up in about 2 hours and makes for an excellent gift for yourself or a gag gift. Possibly a while elephant party gift too.
The words spell out F#CK THIS SH#T but there is an alternative version provided.
This is an item Daniel, my partner, wanted, as he is much more edgy with boundaries than I am. I had to develop the pattern to make his cowl, and I am sharing it with you.
I prefer not to wear full-on language like this and have replaced a couple of letters with a # sign. However, in the download, there are two diagrams, one with my safer version and the other fully spelled out. I'm not the fashion police; decide what you prefer.
These are subtle enough that when you are tucking it into your jacket to keep warm, you can decide what faces out. Unless someone asks you, they may never notice your hidden message.

Nothing has ever resonated with me so much! Once I saw this pattern I stopped everything I was doing to make it. I love it! I am going to make one for my mom, she also loved it. Thank you for an excellent pattern! I added a row of slip stitches for the border to kind of add a bit more dimension
This was a very easy pattern to make, clear instructions, fun to do, and made in just a few hours.
Highly recommended.
Finishing this cowl I immediately reversed the colors and did it again!
I have never done this stitch before and while I had a bit of a learning curve, and it is not done perfectly, it didn’t take long. Thank you!
Picked up the pattern to make a gift for my dad. I ended up making 2. I couldn't find the recommended yarn in my area so I went with Wool Ease Thick & Quick. I naturally stitch tight and using the recommended hook size with the waistcoat stitch made for a really dense fabric. I did a second with a 10mm hook and I think that one drapes well enough to be worn. Each one took me 2-3 nights to do - definitely not 2 hours. But it was easy to follow the pattern, especially with the video on the stitch.
So, I have to tell you....when I saw this come up in my feed, and saw the words " F#CK THIS SH#T" and I just freaked out! I thought I had responded to someone on a platform while I was drinking wine! Geez, what a scare that was!
