I really like crocheting little light bulbs, but prefer the socket region to be more realistic. I like the stitches to be tighter. These are the Christmas Little Flickers Light Bulb Strand pattern.
I had a mixed bundle box that Repeat Crafter Me put together a couple of years ago, and the colours in it were amazing.
Red Heart Super Saver. 198 g/7 oz, 333 meters/364 yards
A - Shocking Pink
B - Spring Green
C - Turqua
D - Saffron
E - Pumpkin
F - Great Heather (to look burnt out as a conversation bulb)
Caron One Pound. 453.6 g/16 oz, 742 meters/812 yards
G - Kelly Green (socket and strand)
Polyfil to stuff the light.
Hook: 4.5 mm / US 7
Gauge: 14 sc and 16 rows = 4” [10 cm]
Size: 5” long x 1.5” diameter
Note: If you would like these to be bigger, increase your hook size to 5 mm / H/8 or 5.5 mm / I/9.

The pattern is fantastic and easy to follow. The videos are even better. I have never mastered a magic ring until I watched him do it. I'm having a blast making these and absolutely adore Mikey and his videos. "Don't be cheap". Lmao, I say that to myself every single time I start one now. Cannot recommend this anymore highly.
My project list is long and running behind but reading through the pattern this is going to be fun to do. It's written well and exactly what I'd expect from a pattern created by Mikey. It's absolutely going to be adorable even if it'll not make the top of the list before this holiday season ends. Thanks Mikey!
Thank you for this free pattern. It’s adorable. I haven’t made it yet. I’ll give five stars for your kindness alone!
