Fast and easy blanket to toss over a chair or sofa for the holiday decor. Easy enough to do this with 4-ply worsted #4 yarn as well. The pattern easily repeats until you are happy.
This uses only one ball of Caron Anniversary Cakes in the colour Holly Jolly. If you want it bigger, grab a second ball and keep repeating.
The pattern is 6 pages with blown up photos, crochet diagram and written instructions included.
Caron Anniversary Cakes. 1000 g / 35.3 oz, 941 metres / 1029 yards.
1 Ball (Use entire ball. Do a swatch check, or you may play yarn chicken. Grab a second ball as a precaution if you prefer not to gauge.)
Hook: 8 mm / L/11
Gauge: 10 sc and 11 rows = 4” [10 cm]
Size: 47” x 47” [119 x 119 cm]

Loved this pattern. It was fun to make but it did take me longer than 2 days- I think Mikey is a very fast crocheter!! LOL. I am very well satisfied with this product. Thank-you for another show stopper.
Loved this pattern. It worked up great. Initially I was a bit disappointed with the look of mine. As I progressed and more colours presented I was very happy with it. I don’t usually work with the bulkier yarns but I enjoyed this one.
I would work on it at home and at lunch time at work (in the teachers lounge). When I finished it at home, I took it back to school so my friends could see the finished product. They loved it. It is an easy repeat. Next one I will make a little bigger, cause I bought plenty of the yarn. :)
Love the design. It's my Christmas present to me.Thanks for adding stitch count for each side, it's keeping me on track.
I enjoyed completing this project. I used one Caron Anniversary Cake and my throw is 42” square. Easy stitch pattern but pops lots of texture.
